- 2 primary pick locations, each equipped with 5 Put to Light zones.
- 2 Pick/Replenish locations, each featuring 5 Pick/Put to Light zones.
- Space Optimization:
- Reduced forward pick square footage requirements by an impressive 40% by utilizing the full height ceiling capacity.
- Consolidation and Automation:
- Consolidated orders to a designated Value-Added Service (VAS) area.
- Integrated orders from VAS and Stock locations to 18 pack stations.
- Automated tote induction upon order availability from the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Technology Integration:
- Installed 16 cameras/scanners for precision and accuracy.
- Utilizing 24 diverts operated by KOZ Software (WCS).
- Powered by one Primary panel and 2 sub-I/O panels.
- Equipped with 2 computer Command Centers for Supervisor access.
- Open and accessible database for custom customer dashboards.
Results:
The results of these enhancements speak for themselves:
- Reduced total container volume by an impressive 38%.
- A remarkable 40% reduction in forward pick square footage requirements, maximizing the utilization of their facility.
- Expanded forward pick SKU locations to a current count of over 7,600.
