Ever have one of those days…   When Darry (our technician) arrived, the conveyor was leaning over and being supported by a lift truck. 4 supports were ripped from the floor.  He made new and bigger foot plates where needed, welded, re-anchored them, and used material onsite to strengthen the line. Inspected and tested the line. A note from the customer: Darry, Thanks for responding to our emergency and getting us back up and operational so quickly. An Ergonomic Solution for Manual Case Handling   Last year a customer engaged us to help find a solution that would eliminate back injuries.  Operators need to move boxes between lines or to a Pallet Build area.  The boxes are 16” x 22” and weight 45 pounds.  Charlie Ensminger from out Missouri office was able to provide a few options to choose from.  The customer approved the use of a Gorbel Crane system with a custom vacuum lifter.  The rotation of the jib crane and 10’ long arm allowed one crane / lifter head to complete the solution for all of the customer’s needs.   Contact us for your custom Ergonomic Solution today!

Enhance the Ship Process with Automated Print and Apply   In a recent project, Systems in Motion integrated with the customer\’s WMS to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the labeling process.  Many Distribution Centers are requiring the label size and placement with rigid standards.  We have provided systems with both label placement verification and label data verification.  This solution results in almost 100% label accuracy.  We work in tandem with the customer’s QC requirement and  WMS information to significantly increase the efficiency over the older manual process.  This specific process also required no Compressed air.  Contact us today for your custom Print and Apply Solution.

Annual Systems In Motion Holiday Party was a fun time for all A huge thank you goes out to the KVK Team for hosting the invading horde of Systems in Motion employees last Friday.  The event was filled with good times, good food, some awards, and a few questionable games.   Scott Lee presented a number of awards for years of service at the event.  Joe Kozman, Richard Vinyard, and Kevin Knourek combine for almost 100 years of knowledge in the industry, applications, solutions, and probably a few nightmares along the way.  This kind of experience is so important to all we do. The culture committee worked hard, but not as hard as Ken in the shop for basically giving up his domain.  To thank him, we forced him to play \”The 2 Jason\’s Family Feud\” and watch some questionable Karaoke.   Merry Christmas to all and Have a Safe and Happy New Year!!

Tis the Season! It’s that time of year again! Last year, we started the tradition of adopting a family in need for the holidays. The sense of community and giving, brought so much joy and spirit to the System in Motion “elves” we decided to do it again this year and spread even more joy by sponsoring TWO families! One single mom with SEVEN daughters and another single mom with a two-year-old son. We are hoping to exceed last year’s goal of $1000 again and give these families a Christmas to remember.
